Μια ξεχωριστή έκθεση θα φιλοξενεί το Διεθνές Εκθεσιακό Κέντρο Κρήτης στην πρώην αμερικάνικη βάση των Γουρνών την περίοδο Απριλίου-Οκτωβρίου του 2009, την έκθεση «Leonardo Da Vinci – Εφευρέτης και Επιστήμονας».

From April to October 2009, visitors can see an outstanding exhibition, “Leonardo da Vinci – Scientist and Inventor”.
The exhibition highlights the striking relationship between art, science and technical expertise, and stands as proof that the great man’s works link Greek Antiquity to the Renaissance, and the Renaissance to the modern era – for what was a utopia in his day has now become reality.
The exhibition is structured around three categories of exhibits, which complement each other to provide an overall picture of Leonardo the inventor and scientist. These comprise drawings, models of inventions and multimedia touch screens displaying 8,000 images.
