This video shows villages at a distance of about half an hour driving from Heraklion and was filmed during Spring 2009. The 20 villages of the area are producing olive oil, grapes and wine. The map here below shows Nikos Kazantzakis Municipality that has been named after the great Greek writer and philosopher Nikos Kazantzakis.
