Monday July 6th 2009, the big opening of the Heraklion Summer Festival 2009 took place! It was a free concert on the area at the West side of the city by the seaside. The West side of the coast line of the city is under renovation and it is expected to finish soon.
Lots of people attended the concert witch was with free admission. The singer was Glykeria who very famous with Greeks and other eastern nationalities!
