In the Divine Liturgy in the morning, we make noise to represent the earth quake that happened before Jesus’ Resurrection. This is the Proti Anastasi (First Resurrection) service, with just before the reading of the Gospel, the hangings and vestments and changed from dark lenten colors to white.

Μεγάλη Παρασκευή βράδυ – Good Friday evening
After the Divine Litourgy, there is the tradition to take the Cross and Epitaphios around the main streets near each church. After that, at about 10:30 everybody goes to have fish food and vegetables and drink raki or ouzo.
